Whether alone or with a guide, snowshoeing is an increasingly popular way to explore the region. We have compiled some of the most beautiful snowshoe trails in the Appenzellerland.
Tours should be planned in advance. Depending on the chosen route and the snow conditions, we recommend that you check for avalanche warnings.
- marked pink: are official snowshoe trails, but are not groomed. After snowfall, the first guest must make the trail. Often only a narrow track is visible in the snow.
- Marked yellow: belong to the signposted hiking trail network, but are not official snowshoe hiking trails.
