For me, the Gäbris is one of the most beautiful places in Appenzellerland. Whether Alpstein, Rhine Valley or Lake Constance, the Gäbris offers a view of a large part of eastern Switzerland, even as far as the Rigi on a good day. You can hike or bike to the top of the hill, which is 1200 meters above sea level. With a picknick in your rucksack, you can enjoy a rest at two fireplaces. Perfect for the end of the day.
