The wine shop located in the impressive building at Poststrasse 9 was established in 1854.
Parts of the Swiss constitution originated within these walls more than 140 years ago, tobacco was sold here for 70 years, and wool and precious stones for 5 more. Now a new shop has awoken this historic building out of its slumber. The intricately decorated ceiling, the oak flooring with bordes and the so-called 'Lüftel (fresco) wall paintings on the walls make the room into a real jewel.
Come on in and enjoy a finely selected variety of quality wines and fine spirits. The proprietors, Kurt and Silvia Sonderegger, particularly look forward to introducing you to the joys of local Appenzellerland spirits.
