The house has been carefully renovated and furnished in a cosy, individual style. It is also used as a refuge by the owners.

The Appenzellerland is among the most beautiful hiking regions in Switzerland and also close to Lake Constance. You can conveniently plan the route of your next hike, for example to Hundwiler Höhe, while sitting in front of the house and checking out the conditions with a pair of binoculars.
The next golf course is a 10-minute drive away and the village has a public outdoor swimming pool with extensive lawns. When the weather conditions are not quite so great, you can reach St. Gallen with its world-famous abbey library, museums, cinemas, clubs, shops etc. in 15 minutes by car. The next bus stop is a 7-minute walk from the house. «Im Grund» is the ideal holiday house for 4 people or a maximum of 6 people and makes for a very spacious abode for 2! A wonderful place to recharge your batteries!
