The farmhouse in the Appenzellerland has been furnished with care and kept very simple – pared back yet comfortable. Sheer luxury for nature lovers, pure and simple. While you mightn't have much here, you don’t need much either. It's all about being contented and at ease.
This house offers ample space for a family or a team of colleagues - max. 6 to 7 people.
The house has its own fire pit at the front, at the forest edge. And fireplaces inside keep the house warm.
Pure tranquillity. Situated on the hilltop, with its back to Lake Constance, facing the Alpstein. According to legend, this is a place of mystical power. The Rhine Valley on the left, the Appenzeller Vorderland on the right. A ski resort? Nope. How about an amusement park or crazy downhill slopes? Nope, none of those either. Peace and tranquility are the order of the day here.
In summer, guests can enjoy an idyllic swimming area nearby (Walzenhausen). The area also features beautiful hiking and bike trails, forests and hills.
You can venture out shopping in Walzenhausen, Wolfhalden or Heiden. And on the weekend, there’s the "Bäsebeiz" nearby, where you can sample the best food and bread in the world.
