“Haus Erika” was built as a semi-detached house in 1914, has been in the family since 1923 and is located in Gais, Appenzellerstrasse. The 5.5 room vacation apartment offers space for 8 people, was renovated inside in 2024, the rooms are spread over 3 floors.

As it is a patrician house, the ceilings are high (2.20 m) compared to typical Appenzell houses, making it more comfortable for tall people. The part of the house faces the Säntis. The kitchen is spacious with a dining table and fully equipped with cooking and baking utensils. There is a high seat for small children and various coffee machines. The bedrooms are distributed on the 1st and 2nd floor and are very sunny, baby/small child bed available if required. The shower in the bathroom is large (1.20m x 1.20m). An additional separate WC is available. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the cellar. You can also book only ground floor and 1st floor.
