The beautiful hilly landscape of the Appenzell region, dotted with little hamlets and villages, makes the perfect place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Its proximity to the Alpstein means there’s plenty of hiking on the doorstep, too. Säntis, Ebenalp – Aescher, Hoherkasten with its revolving restaurant, Kronberg with the toboggan run and climbing park and a whole lot more are just waiting to be discovered. The beautiful village of Appenzell, the monastery town of St. Gallen with its sights and the Säntispark adventure pool are just 16 km away. Lake Constance can be reached by car in half an hour. Lots of boat trips to Austria and Germany (e.g. Meersburg or the flower island of Mainau) depart from there.
Shopping facilities in Herisau or in beautiful Schwellbrunn, with views of the Alpstein. Everything is also easily accessible by public transport.
The holiday apartment has no WiFi and is radiation-free. There is enough space to park a camper van.
