An alcove at the back of the open-plan kitchen and living area contains two more beds (140 x 200 and 90 x 200 cm). The living room/kitchen is very well equipped. The generous double bathtub in the modern bathroom offers pure luxury. The sauna in the outdoor area can also be used for an extra charge.

The bus stop, village shop, dairy, butcher’s and various restaurants are right on the doorstep.

Schwellbrunn offers beautiful hikes, snowshoe trails, puzzle trails and a ski lift. Alpstein, St. Gallen and the Lake Constance region are all in the immediate vicinity.

Please note that this is a traditional Appenzell wooden house with little sound insulation. The church bells and sounds of the family living below are clearly audible, especially in the kitchen and sleeping alcoves.
