Located directly on the footpath between Hirschberg and Gäbris at 1,172m above sea level, the newly built Sommersberg restaurant offers fine Appenzell specialities. The mainly timber building has a garden terrace with a wonderful view reaching from the Rhine valley up to the Alpstein.
