If there is no snow this December - white views are still highly likely on this hike: the path from Rehetobel to Heiden is mostly above the fog line, and where Lake Constance actually is, a huge, white sea of fog stretches out at this time of year, depending on the weather.
The route partly follows the Appenzeller Kulturspur and the Panoramaweg. This sunny route provides plenty of light and vitamin D in winter.
