Start your experience in Urnäsch and take the bus to the Rossfall. This is where the panoramic hike begins with a steep ascent across meadows and along forests to the Hochalp restaurant. Here you can fortify yourself with a snack platter of homemade and regional specialties and a refreshing drink while enjoying the view of the Alpstein. The trail then leads through the Bruggerenwald forest back into the valley to Urnäsch, where you can round off your day in a restaurant or at the Appenzell folk museum.
