Gentle hills and the Urnäsch ravine
The Urnäsch river separates Waldstatt and Hundwil in a deep ravine. In a large loop, the hike leads east and west of the river on the territory of the two communities over gentle hills. In between, it goes twice through the forest down into the ravine and back up again. Spring shows its first colourful messengers, and in the pastures the cows gorge themselves on lush green grasses.
