This is particularly true of the health trail that connects Oberegg in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden with Heiden in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It takes walkers gently up and down across meadows, through forests and over streams. Information boards along the way provide valuable tips on medicinal plants and their uses.
