812 kilometres of hiking trails lead through the lovely hilly landscape of Appenzellerland. Versatile and varied, the trails stretch across fields, meadows and through forests, past waterfalls, mountain lakes and steep cliffs: from the shores of Lake Constance to the Alpstein, where the king of the Alpsteins is enthroned - the Säntis.

Easier day tours, themed trails as well as stage tours lasting several days make the Appenzellerland region a versatile hiking paradise for young and old.
