The central location of the Ochsen in Stein with views of Mount Säntis and the Alpstein mountains is unique. The Ochsen delights guests with local specialities, including not just a range of fondues but two or three other menus and a dish of the day. Also on offer is a remarkable selection of wines from all over the world.

The popular traditional music sessions organised by Josef Wild, who is a keen accordionist himself and sometimes plays with our house band «Kellerhöckler», take place at 8 pm on every third Thursday of the month and on the first Sunday from 3 pm.

In our house situated in the pure and healthy air of the alpine foothills, you can stay overnight in quiet, themed rooms with a homely atmosphere.
