The museum, which is integrated into the Hof Speicher retirement and care home, makes the connection between the elderly and the general population.

The museum of life stories documents the biographies and achievements of key figures from the canton of Appenzell, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and the region.
It is integrated into the Hof Speicher retirement and care home. Admission is free and the house is open daily.
