The hike begins at the Bruggerenwald car park and leads along a route that starts off gently uphill and then becomes somewhat steeper to the Hochalp. After crossing the Rötelbach stream, you quickly gain altitude – and finally the breathtaking panoramic view captivates you: Säntis, Churfirsten, and the Glarus Alps frame the alpine stage. Barely visible, the Swiss flag flies above the cozy Hochalp mountain inn, inviting visitors with benches and tables outside. Enjoy the view from above  while enjoying a well-deserved refreshment before making your way back along the same route via Rossmoos to the starting point.
