From Bühler, this themed hiking trail leads over gentle hills, through shady forests and past idyllic farms up to the Hohe Buche. Once at the top, an impressive panorama opens up: the view sweeps far across Lake Constance to the Allgäu, the Vorarlberg Alps and the snow-capped peaks of central Switzerland. The descent leads through the Weissbachtal valley, past the Kriegersmühle mill and back to Bühler. Along the way, 12 themed boards provide interesting facts about Bühler and the Appenzellerland. The easy-to-walk route is ideal for families and offers a beautiful combination of nature, history and marvellous views.
