WeinWerk Wienacht AG
Four vineyards on four hectares – four characters, one team. Award-winning red and white wines are pressed in the wine cellar of WeinWerk Wienacht AG.
Just before the Rhine flows into Lake Constance, the Junkert family’s vineyards can be found on the sun-drenched slopes of the Appenzeller Vorderland. Traditional grapes grow alongside new, innovative varieties on plots of land spanning two cantons. Biodiversity is promoted during cultivation with the greatest respect for nature. The oenologist Jens Junkert aims to produce high-quality wines without compromise.
The winery is modern and equipped to meet today’s winemaking requirements. This allows the grape-pressing to be customised to each vintage, creating independent white and red wines with a strong character with minimal intervention, even in barrique casks.
The WeinWerk premises give private individuals and groups the opportunity to taste the wines in elegant surroundings. The showroom and terrace offer a view of Lake Constance and the lower Rhine Valley as far as Vorarlberg.
Jens Junkert’s high quality standards have earned him several gold and silver awards – and the title of “Newcomer of the Year 2023”. The wines are available either directly from the winery in the newly established vinotheque or online (wein-werk.ch).
