The Sedel Restaurant and Kids’ Paradise in Herisau – a great day out for the whole family.
The “Sedel”, situated high above Herisau in the beautiful Appenzellerland, is a popular excursion destination known throughout the region. Its reopening was celebrated in September 2023 and the entire Kids' Paradise was refurbished. Children can spend hours here, and in the high season there are regular clown shows with the entertainer “Freddy”.
The “Sedel” caters for everyone: delicious treats are served in the restaurant, the self-service buffet offers various snacks and drinks, and you can prepare your own food in the barbecue area in the middle of the Kids’ Paradise. And when it gets colder, there is even a cosy fondue chalet.
The restaurant has a dining room with space for 80 people and a serviced outdoor area for 60 people. The beer garden with its magnificent view of Lake Constance can seat 140. Whether it's for small or large celebrations, the “Sedel” offers something for everyone.
