Restaurant Ochsen caters for all kinds of events and for different groups with its small and large rooms.
The ambiance of the rooms is as varied as the food and drink on offer. From cozy and earthy to elegant and traditional, or even simple and homely, it's all here. What we value most at the "Ochsen" are satisfied guests, traditional, home-style cooking, home-made products, and regional, high-quality, healthy food.
There is also a butcher's behind Restaurant Ochsen. The meat is processed from our own slaughterhouse. The animals come from farms in the immediate vicinity, from the Appenzellerland and Neckertal regions. The butcher’s shop is located in the "Landigebäude" at Hauptstrasse 10 in Schönengrund.
