The restaurant is located above Gais in the canton of Appenzell Ausserhoden, at 1,200m above sea level.
Decorated in typical Appenzell style, the restaurant can accommodate 40 people. The splendid tiled stove never fails to impress our guests. Hikers visit us throughout the year, drawn by the charming atmosphere and the delicious food. The sunny beer garden offers unbeatable views of Alpstein, Montafon and Vorarlberg.
Young visitors can use up their energy in our varied play area.
12 guests can sleep in the dormitory. The beds all have duvets. A shower and WC are on the ground floor. In addition, there is a fridge with a small selection of drinks. To round off the cosy atmosphere, the room also contains a traditional wooden sideboard and corner seating with a table.
