Far removed from all traffic, with a view over the Säntis mountain range and right in the midst of the green hills of the Appenzellerland – this is where the farmhouse of the Frischknecht family is located. The retired couple Lina and Ernst have made it their mission to offer affordable accommodation for guests from all over the world. They love company and truly enjoy making their guests feel at home.
The typical Appenzell house features five basic and cosy bedrooms with a shared shower room. The sumptuous farmer's breakfast prepares guests for an exciting day exploring the Appenzellerland. Lina Frischknecht loves to pamper people with her home-made and regional specialities. Many traditional restaurants in the area are open for lunch and dinner. There is no minimum length of stay. Please note: In the event that the road is covered in snow, a 4x4 vehicle is required for the last steep climb up to the house.
