UP AND DOWN WITH MOUNT SÄNTIS AS BACKDROP
Even though Spitzli and Hoch Petersalp do not look as impressive as the Alpstein massif in the background, the ascent is quite challenging. The Spitzli is 2.5 kilometres and a 530-metre climb away from Steinflue. A steep climb indeed. The reward is a fantastic 360-degree view from the cross at the top, and an entry into the summit book. To the south, the Säntiskette mountain range looms large along the way.
