This is an up-and-down hike through the border region between the Appenzell Vorderland and the Rhine Valley. The route takes you through meadows where cows, sheep and goats graze, through forests where streams rush through ravines and along country lanes past sturdy fruit trees and vines. Autumn reveals its full splendour.
