Enjoy the peace and quiet out on the hills of Chäseren and Aemissegg and admire the view as you listen to the murmur of the Tüfenbach stream in the deep ravine below – the hike from Schönengrund to St. Peterzell reveals the charms of the Neckertal valley. The route leads through St. Gallen territory, but the Ausserrhoden municipality of Schönengrund is also close by, forming a cross-border unit with the St. Gallen forest. The Tüfenbach stream flows in between.
