The route unites two villages with a textile past. In Trogen, almost everything revolved once around the Zellwegger linen and cotton trade, while hand embroidery brought welcome additional income to farming families in Wald. The hike between the two villages leads over rolling hills and deep gorges, past magnificient patrician houses and simple embroiderers' huts.
