The Culinary Appenzeller Route 222 offers you fine specialities, cultural highlights and fantastic views over the typical hilly Appenzell landscape in addition to traditional Appenzell hospitality. Appenzell’s restaurateurs will spoil you with a selected Appenzeller menu, which you can enjoy in full at one restaurant or, alternatively, you can move from inn to inn, savouring a new course at each.
You’ll start your e-bike route in one of the charming villages of Urnäsch or Appenzell. Soon, the route will take you past green meadows, traditional Appenzell farms and a series of breathtaking panoramas. In addition to the epicurean highlights, a visit to the show dairy in Stein will definitely round off the day in style.
