In the Schnuggebock, time was carefully set back. The best of yesterday is presented in the hearty Appenzell fare. Local apples instead of exotic oranges, cheese from our own production, crusty bread. Here at Grosi, everything is a bit slower, more enjoyable. At Restaurant Waldegg, on the other hand, you can expect contemporary cuisine, multi-faceted but down-to-earth, essential but refined, local but cosmopolitan. The mission is to prepare fresh products using artisanal methods in such a way that their original character is preserved and the pure, unadulterated flavours come to the fore. The Waldegg restaurant has a cosy parlour with a tiled stove, a festive hall for up to 50 people and a large garden restaurant with a magnificent view of the Alpstein.
